Las Vegas Trip 2007

My boss at the cabinet and granite countertop shop forced me to go on an all expenses paid 3 day weekend trip to Las Vegas in 2007. We were attending the Stone Expo at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Casino and Convention Center. The Stone Expo proved to be 3 long days of standing on the concrete floor and talking to all of the CNC Machine vendors and various stone importers.

We did manage to spend several hours each night in the Casino, and took a trip downtown to catch the light show on Freemont Street on Friday night. If you get the chance to go to Vegas, mke sure you do not miss Freemont Street. Make sure you go in the evening after dark to see the Light Show! When we were there, the streets were jammed with people, and there was live band on a stage on the street. Here are a few photos that I took when we were not touring the convention center.
