First Annual Nanaimo Toy Run

The “Media Kick Off Event” at Woodgrove Mall on Thursday morning November 18, 2010 at 11:00 for the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive also announced the First Annual Nanaimo Toy Run. The toy run is being organized by The Nanaimo Toy Run Society with Rod Rushton (President) and Robert Menzies (Vice President). The run is scheduled for July 2, 2011, and will start at the Cedar Community Hall, and follow a prescribed route through downtown Nanaimo ending up at Beban Park. At the park, there will be lots of events for the whole family to enjoy, including live bands, a beer garden, events for the kids and both food and merchandise vendors.
